Erin Dewson
Licensed Associate Counselor
Hi, I’m Erin and I’m a Licensed Associate Counselor who believes therapy is a collaborative process, that each person deserves to feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. My approach is person-centered, meaning I meet clients where they are and work alongside them to create a therapeutic experience that feels comfortable, authentic, and meaningful.
I have over 7 years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I am passionate about working with adults navigating trauma, challenging life transitions, grief, and mental health challenges. I understand that change can be difficult, and that everyone’s journey looks different. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive space where clients can explore their experiences, build on their strengths, develop healthy coping strategies, and work through the challenges that may be holding them back.
I utilize evidence based techniques such as cognitive processing therapy, trauma informed therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness.
Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor therapy to each client’s individual needs, experiences, and goals. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to support you in gaining insight, building confidence, and creating meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.
Whether you are struggling with your mental health, processing past trauma, adjusting to a major life change, or simply feeling stuck, you do not have to navigate it alone. I am here to meet you where you are and help you move toward where you want to be!
